Work Schedule: 6 days a week, Work from the office

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage network devices including routers and switches.
  • Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize BGP (iBGP / eBGP) connections.
  • Implement BGP route policies using route-maps, prefix-lists, and communities.
  • Troubleshoot BGP routing issues including flapping, path selection, and propagation problems.
  • Configure and maintain OSPF and IS-IS routing protocols (Level-1 / Level-2).
  • Implement and troubleshoot static routes and route redistribution between protocols.
  • Perform L2 support for escalated NOC tickets.
  • Conduct network monitoring and proactive performance checks.
  • Perform incident management and fault resolution in line with SOPs.
  • Carry out root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring network issues.
  • Maintain network diagrams (HLD / LLD) and documentation.
  • Follow change management processes for configuration updates and network changes.
  • Maintain configuration backups and ensure proper configuration management.

Required Skills

  • Hands-on experience with Cisco Systems routers and switches.
  • Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, static routing, and route redistribution.
  • Experience in NOC operations, incident management, and fault management.
  • Proficiency in network monitoring tools and processes.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.
  • Ability to follow SOPs, document processes, and manage network configurations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CCNP or equivalent networking certification.
  • Experience in enterprise or service provider networks.
  • Familiarity with ITIL and operational best practices.
