ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan and execute patching/remediation programs for endpoints, servers, middleware, and applications, working directly with client or internal infrastructure teams.
- Translate vulnerability findings into actionable remediation plans, using asset context and threat intelligence to prioritize patching efforts.
- Deploy and validate patches or configurations using enterprise tools and client processes, ensuring compatibility and minimal disruption.
- Maintain remediation records and exception tracking, reporting on progress toward risk-reduction goals.
- Support automation and process improvements to increase patching and remediation speed, consistency, and coverage.
- Collaborate with security, operations, and DevOps teams to integrate patching into CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) workflows.
- Monitor and analyze security logs and vulnerability data to identify emerging threats and refine patching strategies.
- Provide technical leadership in hybrid and multi-cloud environments, ensuring security controls and patching processes are effective across diverse platforms.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Technical expertise in network security, vulnerability management, and patch deployment.
- Minimum of three years IT related experience.
- Experience with enterprise security tools, asset management systems, and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO).
- Problem-solving and analytical skills to assess risks and recommend remediation actions.
- Scripting languages for automation of deployments.
- Strong communication skills for translating technical findings into business-friendly remediation plans.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- This role blends vulnerability management, patch deployment, and security operations, requiring both technical depth and strategic thinking to protect an organization’s digital assets.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or related information security credentials are preferred.

Salary Range: $79,214 - $110,000
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, and performance. This range may be modified in the future.
