Role Purpose

The Manager, Financial Marketplace & Integrations is a strategic commercial role responsible for building and scaling Telecel Cash’s financial services marketplace through partnerships and platform integrations.This role drives the creation of a multi-partner ecosystem, enabling customers and businesses to seamlessly access a wide range of financial services including credit, savings, insurance, and investment products via Telecel channels.

Acting as the bridge between partners, technology, and commercial teams, the role is accountable for onboarding partners, structuring commercially viable offerings, and delivering integrated solutions through APIs and other digital channels.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and scale a financial services marketplace aggregating products across banking, insurance, and wealth management.

•Identify priority product areas such as micro and nano loans, savings schemes, group savings, insurance (life and non-life), and investment products.

•Define marketplace propositions that are simple, accessible, and relevant to mass market and SME segments.

•Identify, onboard, and manage strategic partners including banks, microfinance institutions, insurers, asset managers, and fintechs.

•Lead commercial negotiations, defining revenue models, SLAs, and partnership frameworks.

•Build and maintain strong partner relationships to ensure continuous innovation and service quality.

•Drive API-based integrations and other technical enablement required to deliver partner products seamlessly on Telecel platforms.

•Work closely with technology teams to ensure scalable, secure, and reliable integrations.

•Support the development of a plug-and-play platform model, enabling faster onboarding of new partners and services.

•Own the end-to-end lifecycle of marketplace products, from concept and onboarding to launch, optimization, and scaling.

•Monitor and drive key commercial metrics including adoption, usage, revenue, and partner performance.

•Continuously refine propositions based on customer insights, usage data, and market trends.

•Lead go-to-market strategies for new financial services, ensuring strong visibility and customer education.

•Collaborate with marketing teams to drive Top of Mind Awareness (TOMA) and usage of marketplace offerings.

•Promote financial literacy to support adoption of credit, insurance, and investment products.

•Ensure all marketplace products comply with Bank of Ghana regulations, insurance guidelines, and other relevant frameworks.

•Work with internal risk and compliance teams to enforce AML, KYC, and data protection standards.

•Ensure partner adherence to agreed regulatory and operational requirements.

•Ensure full compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements throughout product design and implementation processes.

•Solid knowledge of financial services products across lending, insurance, and investments.

•Good understanding of the Ghanaian regulatory environment (BoG, NIC, SEC).

Education & Experience

•Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

•MBA or relevant professional certifications (e.g. CFA, ACCA) is an advantage.

•Minimum of 5 years’ experience in fintech, digital financial services, or banking/insurance partnerships.

•Proven experience in partnership management, business development, or platform-based product roles.
