Job Description

What is the opportunity?

The Senior Financial Systems Analyst provides critical technical leadership for CNB's enterprise finance systems, including Cognos TM1, FSS Portal/FiBRS, PeopleSoft, and Cadency Certification. This role serves as the primary technical resource for system enhancements, user support, and compliance. You'll lead month-end activities, manage reporting frameworks, oversee system implementations, and ensure compliance and system stability across all supported platforms.

What will you do?

  • Act as the lead of Month end activities for entire Finance and post managerial reporting adjustments
  • Month end issues resolution and management
  • Act as the lead to Manage Reporting Accounts and Account hierarchies, support metadata enhancements including maintain RBC Transit/ 80k structure alignment
  • Train users on Metadata and allied systems used to manage this process
  • Act as point of contact for TM1 enhancements and implementations; coordinate closely with Finance users
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for fixes, upgrades, and enhancements
  • Troubleshoot issues, develop solutions, and ensure system stability
  • Lead FSS Portal/FiBRS implementation and migration; troubleshoot user issues
  • Support Cadency Certification upgrades and special projects; resolve user issues
  • Resolve various user issues and provide consultation to business owners and system users on best practices
  • Coordinate and support system upgrades
  • Support preparation of system control assessments and required compliance documentation
  • Support special projects impacting Cadency Certification, Emburse and SharePoint (e.g., new system feeds—DMI, ACBS)
  • Respond to audit requests and prepare system control assessments
  • Own User Access Management and Change Management controls; participate in internal audits
  • Support SDLC processes and server governance

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience with financial systems (TM1, PeopleSoft, procurement systems such as Coupa, or similar platforms)
  • Demonstrate initiative by identifying problems, proposing solutions, and driving improvements independently
  • Knowledge of financial processes and reconciliation
  • Understanding of compliance and controls frameworks
  • Strong communication and user support abilities

Nice-to-have

  • Advanced Cognos TM1 system administration experience
  • Experience with FSS Portal or financial metadata management systems
  • Project management certification (PMP) or relevant experience
  • Knowledge of SDLC processes and governance
