Job Purpose: Lead the end-to-end delivery of AI solutions across EDGE, owning the group-wide AI backlog and roadmap and translating business and SME needs into actionable AI use cases and agent requirements. Ensure AI solutions are secure, compliant, reliable, and scalable while coordinating cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and partners to deliver AI capabilities aligned with business priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

Own the group-wide AI backlog and roadmap, prioritising use cases based on business value, client needs, feasibility, and risk. Translate business and SME requirements into clear AI use cases, agent specifications, acceptance criteria, and measurable outcomes. Lead delivery governance across AI programmes, including milestones, dependencies, risks, budgets, and executive reporting. Oversee AI deployments across internal and external environments, coordinating integration, readiness, and delivery teams. Manage delivery commitments and SLAs, ensuring timely integrations and reliable service performance. Ensure AI security and compliance, including alignment with PDPL, NIST, and TOP SECRET requirements in partnership with Security and Compliance. Establish GenAI safety and assurance practices, including red teaming, continuous testing, evaluation, and remediation. Govern changes to models, agents, and integrations, including versioning, approvals, release management, and rollback processes. Drive MLOps/LLMOps best practices covering CI/CD, observability, AI evaluation, drift monitoring, and incident response. Manage senior stakeholders across business, product, legal, security, technology, and external partners to resolve escalations and enable delivery. Oversee vendors and strategic partners, including SOWs, performance, interoperability, and commercial management. Establish standards for requirements, runbooks, security documentation, and audit readiness. Continuously improve AI delivery processes, governance, metrics, and ways of working.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data/AI, or related field; Master’s preferred. 10+ years of experience in product, technology, or delivery roles, including 3+ years leading AI/ML or AI platform products. Proven experience delivering AI solutions, including ML, NLP, CV, GenAI, or AI agents, from discovery through enterprise-scale deployment. Experience managing multi-program portfolios across enterprise or government environments. Strong understanding of MLOps/LLMOps, data pipelines, AI evaluation, and secure or air-gapped environments. Experience with PDPL and NIST-aligned controls; classified/TOP SECRET experience preferred. Experience managing vendors, systems integrators, contracts, SOWs, and strategic partnerships. Defence, aerospace, or regulated industry experience is an advantage. Eligibility to obtain required security clearance.
