Position Summary
This role is an opportunity to work directly with teams across the credit union to improve the business processes and technology that support our lending operations. This position will serve as a key bridge between business units and technology teams, with a primary focus on loan origination processes and applications. You’ll analyze how work gets done, gather and translate business requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and help deliver technology solutions that improve both employee and member experiences.
This position reports to the Application Management (Business Systems) Senior Section Manager and is located at our HSFCU Headquarters in Downtown Honolulu.
Base Annual Salary Range: $79,100 - $101,745 per year The posted range reflects the anticipated base pay for this position, with final compensation determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity.
Essential Duties:
- Support and maintain the Loan Origination Systems (LOS) and related applications.
- Partner with business stakeholders to analyze processes, gather requirements, and identify technology solutions.
- Evaluate application workflows and recommend process and system improvements.
- Support application enhancements, testing, implementations, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to deliver solutions that meet business and regulatory requirements.
- Create and maintain documentation for requirements, processes, configurations, and support procedures.
Minimum Qualifications/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of advanced education and experience.
- 3+ years of experience supporting, administering, or maintaining Loan Origination Systems.
- Experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and translating business and functional requirements into technology solutions.
- Experience analyzing business processes and application workflows to identify gaps, improvements, and solution opportunities.
- Experience working with business stakeholders, technical teams, and application vendors throughout requirements, testing/UAT, and implementation.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
- Experience with Encompass and/or MeridianLink LOS.
- Experience supporting a core banking platform.
- Experience working within a bank, credit union, or other regulated financial institution.
- Experience using SQL or other query/reporting tools for analysis and data validation.
- Certification: CBAP, CSBA, CAPM, CBTA, ITIL or similar.
