The Role

We’re looking for a Senior QA Test Analyst with strong technical and programming expertise to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who approaches quality through code, automation, and rigorous system-level validation rather than manual testing alone.

You’ll help shape how we deliver high-quality software solutions by building and maintaining automated tests, performing non-functional testing, and embedding quality throughout the development lifecycle.

You’ll fit right in if you’re comfortable writing Java code, enjoy partnering closely with developers and product teams, and are motivated by solving complex quality challenges that impact systems used globally.

What You'll Do

  • Create, execute, and maintain automated test cases written in Java to validate application behavior across front-end, back-end, and service layers.
  • Design comprehensive test scenarios and support test data to thoroughly validate business logic, integrations, and overall system flow.
  • Perform non-functional testing, including performance, reliability, and scalability testing, to ensure systems meet technical and operational standards.
  • Work closely with development and project management teams to identify, document, and resolve defects early in the development lifecycle.
  • Develop, extend, and support test automation frameworks and testing tools used across the engineering organization.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2–4 years of experience in quality assurance with a strong emphasis on technical testing and automation.
  • Strong Java programming skills, with hands-on experience writing, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated test suites.
  • Demonstrated experience with non-functional testing and a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in agile, cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Exposure to capital markets, financial services, or fintech platforms.
  • Experience with performance testing tools and structured quality methodologies.

This position will be located in Toronto and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
