The Role
The Solutions Architect is responsible for designing and delivering scalable, customer-focused technology solutions across enterprise networking, security, data center, and collaboration domains. This role works closely with customers to understand business and technical requirements, supports pre-sales engagements, develops solution designs and Statements of Work (SOWs), collaborates with sales, delivery teams, and technology partners, and serves as a trusted technical advisor by providing consultative guidance and building long-term client relationships.
What You Will Do
- Support account managers and customers by providing technical expertise in at least one technology: Enterprise Networks, Security, Data Center and/or Collaboration.
- Use expertise and experience to build solutions that meet and/or exceed requirements that include product and implementation services.
- Deliver and present solutions to our customers.
- Work with the implementation and PMO teams to ensure a smooth project transition.
- Develop and foster relationships with customers to ensure ANM is viewed as their go-to strategic partner.
- Develop and foster relationships with strategic original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and other key partners
- Strong focus on R&S with a good understanding of wireless, security & data centers.
Development of Statements of Work and professional services quotes.
- Support other Solution Architects and Systems Engineers as needed.
- Promote a team environment with a positive attitude.
What We Are Looking For
Required:
- Cisco Certification (CCNP or CCIE preferred).
- Five (5) years of implementation and design experience.
- Pre-sales engineering experience with a value-added reseller (VAR) is strongly preferred.
- Experience in other technologies (security, wireless, data networking, VMware, data center storage, cloud) is a huge plus.
- Strong documentation skills, including diagramming network topologies using Microsoft Visio, Lucid Chart, or similar tools.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation and Technical skills.
- Strong personality and presence with the ability to own and drive the conversation with the customers.
Travel Travel is occasionally required for this position. Must have a valid driver’s license and motor vehicle insurance.
