Description
The Business Analyst is responsible for gathering data and managing information flows in Supply Chain Management (SCM) relevant business systems. The individual will leverage their expertise and work experiences as well as industry best practices in successfully implementing solutions primarily in the planning and administration of master data. Additionally, the individual will seek continuous improvement opportunities in SAP functionality and production support, and will also be engaged in new SAP implementations and enhancements.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Experience in implementing and supporting digital solutions in a biopharmaceutical operational environment including but not limited to processes in manufacturing, process development, supply chain, and quality environments. Ability to develop project plans for adoption of digital solutions, as well as providing hands-on experience with creation of business process analysis, system documentation, validation, project management and process data visualization techniques.
- SCM Key User:
- Ensures and continuously optimizes SCM relevant processes (incl. Production processes) in SAP SCM and Master Data modules.
- First level support for questions/issues regarding IT supported processes and modules for SCM and production users.
- Supports go live of SAP enhancements.
- Responsible for relevant qualification and validation activities including audit trail management according to valid standard operation procedures.
- Responsible for assessment and monitoring of roles as defined for SCM modules and processes.
- Close cooperation with other functions including second level support, global and local IS functions, production, quality.
- Responsible for maintaining CAPAs (corrective/preventative actions), change requests for all SCM relevant (including production) related system enhancements.
- Responsible for the ongoing monitoring and management of accurate master data related processes.
- Key user for Business Analyst SharePoint sites:
- Collects and evaluates demands and requirements for share point sites.
- Creates and maintains required documents including training documentation.
- Organizes and holds trainings for share point users and admins.
- Responsible for the ongoing support of defined BA share point sites.
Requirements
- Ability to independently work with cross-functional team members in the implementation and support of Enterprise Resource Planning solutions and business process improvements. Combines knowledge of ERP solutions with business process knowledge to aid in the advancement of the business.
- Desired experience with MES, LIMS, SAP, Lab Automation, or other production systems. MS Office, including Teams and SharePoint. Database systems/SQL. Programming skills.
- Basic data skills (database systems, SQL) and desire to learn (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, SAP I, R, SAS, Simca)
- Experience working in the biopharmaceutical industry preferred.
- Basic project management skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent people skills.
- Associate degree in IT-related field, Math or Science with Minimum 3 years of experience managing computer system implementations and support in a complex business environment OR Bachelor's plus 2 years of experience OR Master's plus 1 year experience.
Compensation Details
The base salary range for this position is $75,000 to $122,000. The position may be eligible for a role specific discretionary bonus, relocation, and/or other compensation elements. We continuously review market data and may adjust salary ranges as needed in the future.
