The Junior Product Manager supports the management and growth of assigned product lines by assisting with product lifecycle activities, market analysis, product development projects, and commercial support initiatives.
This role is designed for early-career professionals with a background in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering disciplines who are interested in developing a career in product management. The Junior Product Manager will work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and international stakeholders to gain a strong understanding of BEKO Technologies' products, markets, and customers.
The successful candidate will combine technical aptitude with strong analytical and communication skills to support product decisions, new product introductions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
This position reports to the Manager of Product Management and is based at BEKO Technologies' Smyrna, Georgia location. Travel up to 10% may be required.
Areas of Responsibility:
Product Support & Lifecycle Management
- Support the management of assigned product lines throughout the product lifecycle.
- Assist with product positioning, portfolio analysis, and product roadmap planning.
- Maintain product data, documentation, specifications, and pricing information.
- Support engineering change management activities and product updates.
- Monitor product performance, customer feedback, and market trends.
- Assist in gathering and analyzing competitive intelligence and market research.
New Product Development Support
- Participate in new product development projects through BEKO's stage-gate process.
- Coordinate project activities, timelines, documentation, and follow-up actions.
- Assist in collecting customer requirements and translating technical information into business recommendations.
- Support testing, validation, and launch readiness activities for new products.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Marketing, and Sales teams throughout product development efforts.
- Support continuous improvement efforts related to product management processes, documentation, and reporting.
Commercial & Customer Support
- Support Sales and Marketing teams with product information, training materials, presentations, and technical documentation.
- Assist in the development of product launch communications and sales tools.
- Respond to internal product-related inquiries and help resolve product issues.
- Participate in customer visits, trade shows, and industry events as needed.
Job requirements and necessary skills:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical discipline required.
- 1-3 years of professional experience in product management, engineering, manufacturing, technical sales, project coordination, applications engineering, or a related field.
- Internship, co-op, or early-career experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong technical aptitude and engineering fundamentals
- Data analysis and problem-solving
- Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts

- Experience working with cross-functional teams preferred.
