OUR BUSINESS UNIT
The Supplier Data Consulting Business Unit serves as the strategic analytics and reporting hub for the global supplier solution organization. This specialized unit is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the reporting infrastructure, performance metrics, and data standardization frameworks that empower HRS’ international supplier management networks worldwide.
POSITION
We are looking for passionate Data Analysts to work in our vibrant Chandigarh / Mohali tech hub and become a key member of our global data-driven matrix organization. This position will be reporting directly to our U.S. and E.U. offices offering high visibility and opportunity for impact for those willing to roll up their sleeves to develop internally. You will partner with stakeholders across product, engineering, commercial, and finance teams to convert complex business requirements into clear analytical insights that deliver impactful solutions across multiple core business functions. This position will focus on the usage of SQL, modern BI platforms like MicroStrategy, AI tools like Clay or n8n, and the development of sophisticated multidimensional datasets to provide robust strategic insights to our global executive and regional team members.
BUSINESS UNIT CHALLENGES
Complex Data Integrations: Synthesize multiple supplier data sources (outstandings, procurement, bookings, payments, rates, web analytics) into unified, actionable views across executive and global teams
Strategic Supplier Insights: Transform chain and hotel relationship data into strategic insights that drive supplier pricing strategies, negotiations, and partnership optimizations
Global Analytics Harmonization: Drive cross-functional best practices and contribute to the evolution of HRS’ standardized, enterprise-wide, analytics capabilities
Product Line Growth: Partner with management and cross functional teams to expand and elevate HRS Group's Data Consulting analytics capabilities across the enterprise
AI Data Innovations: Co-develop AI data matching and reporting platforms that set industry standards for supplier intelligence
Evolving Excellence: Openness to pivot, seek better solutions when necessary, and keep abreast of new strategic initiatives in our ever-evolving travel industry
FOR THIS EXCITING MISSION YOU ARE EQUIPPED WITH...
- Computer science, data analytics, mathematics, business, or comparable degree.
- Excellent analytical skills to synthesize business implications out of complex data
- Superior expertise in Excel (i.e. VBA Macros, Pivots, Xlookup)
- Moderate knowledge of SQL, AI tools, and BI software (MicroStrategy, PowerBI, Tableau)
- An eagerness to continuously learn, experiment, and not be afraid to fail
- The ability to work independently, be reliable, and organized
- Excellent written and verbal English skills
- Excellent communication skills and conscientious mindedness
