Requirements

Candidates must possess a diploma or degree in a technical field and at least 5 years of relevant experience in AV operations, including leadership roles. Proficiency in professional audio systems, video distribution, and AV networking technologies is required.

Full description

  • Diploma 3/4 or College/University Degree in Audio-Visual, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Multimedia, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  • Good command of spoken and written English is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a 5-star/4-star hotel, resort, convention center, or similar hospitality environment
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Audio Visual operations, maintenance, event production, or related technical functions, including previous experience in a supervisory or leadership position.
  • Previous experience in managing hotel ballroom, meeting room, conference, banquet, and event AV systems is highly preferred.
  • Professional audio systems, including mixers, amplifiers, speakers, microphones, DSP, processors, and signal distribution
  • Projection systems, LED screens, video walls, displays, digital signage, TVs, and video distribution.
  • AV system integration, signal flow, system configuration, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
  • Dante, AV networking, Audio-over-IP, digital AV systems, and related technologies.
  • Event production, video conferencing, recording, live streaming, presentation, and lighting systems.
  • Preventive maintenance, condition monitoring, asset management, spare parts control, and equipment lifecycle planning.
  • Vendor coordination, project management, budgeting, CAPEX planning, procurement, and cost control.
  • Electrical safety, grounding, cable management, risk assessment, working-at-height procedures, and safe event installations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, coordination, customer service, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
