Traffic Management System is a key technology in the railway signaling business, providing a set of advanced features for railway traffic automation and regulation.

Most of the european railway operators are investing to create national/regional railway control centers. The variety and complexity covers almost any request coming from the world of traffic control centers

Purpose of the job:

Managing ETCS/System functional Test:

  • Defining V&V strategy
  • Defining plan of tests, identifying tests to be executed in laboratory and on-site ;
  • Identifying the right configuring test tools and Test Benchs for the testing activities;
  • SW testing session/process, in cooperation with the other testing engineers from laboratory testing toon-site testing;
  • Applying the standard V&V methods & tools, confi guration & change management processes inaccordance to Alstom standards;
  • Managing test execution and analysis for the V&V of the SW and data, delivering the test reports requiredfor the acceptance phace;
  • Supporting Testing & Commissioning in the system acceptance phase
  • Supporting Customer acceptance phase (configuration customer laboratory, customer tests support,on-site activities)
  • Trial Run management in collaboration with Test & Commissining Team

Organisational Reporting:

  • Direct report line to V&V Team Leader
  • Dotted report line to Project Engineering Manager (PrEM) (during project execution)

Network & Links:

  • Internal: Project team (Engineering, Safety, RAM, T&C, PrCOM, PrIM, System Engineering team, …)
  • External: Suppliers (if any)

We require:

University Engineering degree in Informatics, Electronics, Automation, IT, Telecom or equivalent Strong teamworking attitude Availability to perform on field activities on a weekly basis (at Country Italy level) Good command of written and spoken english Software development skill and attitude is a plus

Job Location: We can hire in our Sites of Bologna, Rome or Bari.

Salary range: 37.500 € - €50.000 €
