Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Define, document, and continuously evolve Data Governance and Data Quality frameworks, standards, policies, processes, and guidelines, aligned with the organization’s data strategy.
  • Define methodologies, dimensions, rules, metrics, KPIs, and Data Quality monitoring processes, including mechanisms for identifying, tracking, and resolving data quality issues.
  • Definition of Data Governance standards and guidelines.
  • Plan and execute Data Governance and Data Quality initiatives, from requirements definition and solution design through to implementation, adoption, and monitoring of results.
  • Definition and monitoring of Data Governance and Data Quality KPIs and reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Skills

  • Degree in Computer Science or in similar areas.
  • 5+ years of experience in similar roles.
  • Solid knowledge of Data Governance and Data Quality practices, frameworks, and processes.
  • Experience with Data Ownership, Data Stewardship, Business Glossary, Data Catalog, Data Lineage, and Data Quality processes.
  • Knowledge of databases and analytics technologies, including Data Lake, Lakehouse, and NoSQL storage architectures.
  • Experience with at least one Cloud platform: Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Fabric and Databricks
  • Experience working in collaborative environments and with multidisciplinary or global teams.
  • Strong commitment to delivery quality.
  • Fluent in English - written and spoken (mandatory).
