Senior Data Engineer
Responsibilities
- Define, document, and continuously evolve Data Governance and Data Quality frameworks, standards, policies, processes, and guidelines, aligned with the organization’s data strategy.
- Define methodologies, dimensions, rules, metrics, KPIs, and Data Quality monitoring processes, including mechanisms for identifying, tracking, and resolving data quality issues.
- Definition of Data Governance standards and guidelines.
- Plan and execute Data Governance and Data Quality initiatives, from requirements definition and solution design through to implementation, adoption, and monitoring of results.
- Definition and monitoring of Data Governance and Data Quality KPIs and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Skills
- Degree in Computer Science or in similar areas.
- 5+ years of experience in similar roles.
- Solid knowledge of Data Governance and Data Quality practices, frameworks, and processes.
- Experience with Data Ownership, Data Stewardship, Business Glossary, Data Catalog, Data Lineage, and Data Quality processes.
- Knowledge of databases and analytics technologies, including Data Lake, Lakehouse, and NoSQL storage architectures.
- Experience with at least one Cloud platform: Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Proven experience with Microsoft Fabric and Databricks
- Experience working in collaborative environments and with multidisciplinary or global teams.
- Strong commitment to delivery quality.
- Fluent in English - written and spoken (mandatory).
