Constraint & Delivery Manager
Time Horizon
0 – 30 days
PURPOSE Own plant-level supply constraint identification and delivery performance. First-line resolver of supply disruptions — acting before the production scheduler knows there is a problem. No line stops, no surprises, no excuses.
REPORTS TO Regional Procurement Lead — solid line
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and escalate supply constraints daily; own plant-level constraint register
- Manage supplier delivery performance at plant level; drive root cause analysis on failures
- Mitigate line-down risk: coordinate emergency supply actions before impact on production
- Expedite critical materials; escalate commercial leverage requirements to RCM after exhausting first-line options
- Coordinate cross-functionally with production planning; maintain aligned constraint and delivery horizon
- Execute root cause analysis on delivery failures; track corrective actions through to closure
- Support inventory optimisation: flag excess and shortfall positions to planning team
- Participate in Category Team as extended member; surface recurring supplier delivery issues to GCM/RCM
