About the Role
Equinix is seeking a highly motivated Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our Bangalore office. In this role, you will serve as the functional and systems expert for Source to Pay processes and technology solutions, partnering closely with Procurement, Finance, Supply Chain, IT, and other business stakeholders to drive process excellence and digital transformation.
You will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing scalable P2P solutions, optimizing Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes, and supporting global procurement initiatives. The ideal candidate combines strong functional expertise in Oracle Fusion with exceptional analytical, stakeholder management, and solution design skills.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering business value through process standardization, automation, system enhancements, integrations, and adoption of best-in-class procurement practices that support Equinix's global operations.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary functional SME for Oracle Financials and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes across global business units.
Partner with Finance, Accounts Payable, Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Operations, and IT stakeholders to gather, analyze, document, and prioritize business requirements.
Translate business requirements into functional designs, process improvements, solution architectures, and implementation roadmaps.
Lead end-to-end Oracle Cloud/EBS functional initiatives spanning Procure-to-Pay, Accounts Payable, General Ledger integration points, Supplier Risk Management, Purchasing, and Financial Operations.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on process optimization, automation, controls, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Analyze current-state business processes and identify opportunities for standardization, simplification, and digital transformation across finance and procurement functions.
Facilitate requirements workshops, fit-gap analyses, solution design sessions, process mapping exercises, and stakeholder reviews.
Configure, support, and enhance Oracle Financials and Procurement modules, including system testing, deployment, and post-production support.
Collaborate with technical teams, integration teams, reporting teams, and third-party vendors to deliver scalable enterprise solutions.
Support and coordinate integrations between Oracle ERP and upstream/downstream systems, including banking, supplier, tax, reporting, and other enterprise applications.
Lead data conversion, reconciliation, system validation, SIT/UAT testing, defect resolution, and change management activities during implementations and enhancements.
Develop and maintain business process documentation, functional specifications, test scripts, training materials, and operational procedures.
Design and support reports, dashboards, KPIs, and analytics that provide visibility into financial and operational performance.
Partner with business leaders to recommend best-practice solutions aligned with Oracle capabilities, governance standards, and evolving business needs.
Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive timely resolution of functional and process-related challenges.
Support period-end close activities, financial controls, audit requirements, and compliance initiatives related to P2P processes.
Provide mentorship to junior analysts and consultants while contributing to functional competency development across Finance and ERP domains.
Stay current with Oracle ERP capabilities, emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices across Finance, P2P, and enterprise business processes.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of experience as an Oracle Functional Consultant, Business Systems Analyst, ERP Analyst, or Functional Lead supporting Finance and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) business processes.
Strong hands-on experience with Oracle ERP Cloud and/or Oracle E-Business Suite, including Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Supplier Management, General Ledger integrations, and Procurement modules.
Deep understanding of end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Accounts Payable (AP), Supplier Management, Financial Controls, and ERP business processes.
Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into functional specifications, process designs, configuration solutions, and implementation roadmaps.
Proven track record leading Oracle ERP implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and business transformation initiatives.
Strong knowledge of finance and procurement controls, approval workflows, compliance requirements, audit support, and business governance practices.
Experience supporting enterprise application integrations between Oracle ERP, Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Banking, Tax, and third-party systems.
Hands-on experience with configuration, testing, SIT/UAT coordination, defect management, production support, and release management activities.
Strong understanding of Oracle reporting, analytics, dashboards, and KPI development to support business decision-making.
Experience with data conversion, data migration, reconciliation, and master data management activities.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and business process improvement skills.
Experience working in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery environments.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across business and technology organizations.
Ability to work effectively with global teams across multiple regions and time zones.
Oracle Cloud certification in Procurement, Financials, or related Oracle ERP modules is preferred.
Experience leading or supporting Oracle Cloud ERP implementation and transformation programs.
Knowledge of complementary enterprise applications such as Coupa, SAP Ariba, Jaggaer, Ivalua, GEP, Concur, BlackLine, or other finance/procurement platforms is a plus.
Experience with integrations, APIs, middleware platforms, and enterprise architecture frameworks.
Strong understanding of Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, and Shared Services business processes.
Experience supporting month-end close, financial operations, audit readiness, and compliance initiatives.
Project management, change management, and stakeholder engagement experience preferred.
