IT/OT Data Engineer
Do you want to build digital solutions that optimizes Pharmaceutical Production across Lundbeck? Join our Data, Analytics & AI team and help shape Lundbeck’s Strategic IT/OT Production Data Platforms from idea to implementation.
Your new role
You will help drive Lundbeck's Manufacturing Intelligence journey by transforming Data from Production Equipment and other data sources data into digital solutions that improve everyday operations across Finished Goods-, Liquid Sterile- and Solid Bulk Production in Lundbeck.
This is not an operations or support role. You will own projects from idea to implementation developing solutions yourself and sometimes leading external partners. You will also become one of Lundbeck's key technical experts on Lundbeck Production Data Platform (Aspentech Inmation) and help define its future use across production.
You can look forward to:
- Driving Manufacturing Intelligence projects from idea to implementation.
- Facilitating workshops, defining requirements and challenging business needs.
- Developing or leading the development of dashboards, applications and digital tools.
- Working with production data, PLCs, HMIs, Kepware, industrial networks and related systems.
- Evaluating opportunities based on value, effort, feasibility and scalability.
- Helping shape Lundbeck's strategic Inmation platform.

The position is based in Valby, Denmark.
What you bring to the team
We are looking for someone who combines technical strength with business understanding and enjoys taking ownership. You may currently work as an Automation Engineer, OT Engineer, Process Automation Engineer or in a similar role.
We imagine that you bring:
- Experience from pharmaceutical production, industrial automation, manufacturing IT/OT or a related field.
- Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, industrial communication, networks and production systems.
- Experience driving technical projects from requirements to implementation.
- The confidence to engage stakeholders and challenge unclear requirements.
Experience with one or more of the following is an advantage:
- Inmation or another industrial data platform or historian.
- PAS-X or another Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
- SAP in a manufacturing environment.
- GxP, pharmaceutical or other regulated production.
- LUA scripting or similar development experience.
Most importantly, you are curious, proactive and comfortable working directly with production to identify opportunities and turn them into practical solutions.

Annual Base Salary Range: (582 000 - 799 700) DKK gross
At Lundbeck, we are committed to fair and transparent pay. Please note that the final base salary within the stated range will be based on relevant qualifications, skills, competencies, and level of proficiency as well as internal pay equity.
