We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead and manage complex engineering and construction projects from initiation to closure, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and schedule.
Job Responsibilities**
* Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget, including acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants. * Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. * Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents. * Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. * Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis. * Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals. * Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary. * Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path. * Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. * Track project milestones and deliverables. * Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations. * Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the project life cycle. * Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements. * Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management. * Manage client expectations and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. * Ensure adherence to FLSmidth's safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Job Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. * Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management, preferably within the mining, cement, or heavy industrial sectors. * Proven experience in managing large-scale, complex projects from conception to completion. * PMP certification or equivalent strongly preferred. * Solid understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall). * Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6). * Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. * Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required. * Experience with financial management and budgeting for projects. * Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to industrial projects.
