As a Senior Business Analyst at Optus, you will be at the forefront of driving strategic portfolio and program management initiatives in the Remediation space. The role is crucial in aligning business objectives with technical solutions, bringing together data and insights to inform decision-making, track performance, and find opportunities for improvement. You will lead business analysis activities across the delivery lifecycle, ensuring flawless execution and end-to-end traceability of requirements.

Please note this is a 12 month fixed term opportunity.

What You’ll Do | Your day to day will consist of

• Partnering with Legal, Compliance, Business, Data, and Technology stakeholders to convert regulatory obligations into actionable system logic and data extraction requirements.

• Facilitating decision-making where ambiguity exists.

• Defining, documenting, and validating business rules and data requirements.

• Assessing source systems, data lineage, and data quality to ensure data extracts are complete and accurate.

• Providing visibility and reporting across initiatives to ensure alignment with broader program and portfolio objectives.

• Building and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders across technology, operations, and product domains.

What You Bring | What makes you perfect for the role?

• 5+ years’ experience in business analysis.

• Strong understanding of agile methodologies.

• Skilled in process mapping, gap analysis, and stakeholder facilitation.

• Experience in drafting business requirements, test cases, and working with technical teams.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

• Proven ability to work across complex programs with multiple stakeholders.

• Strong analytical approach with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
