Job Profile

Position : Assistant Manager - Manufacturing Engineering

Reporting to : Senior Manager - Manufacturing Engineering

Location : Sri City, Tada, Andhra Pradesh (Near Chennai)

Your Experience Should Be...

BE / B. Tech (Mech.) with 10 to 12 years of experience in Cryogenic / Pressure Vessels / Oil & Gas / Boilers industry or any capital goods manufacturing & fabrication industry.

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt

Should have good experience in operational excellence & continuous improvement processes

Should have good people management skills

What Will You Do?

  • Support Production department to achieve the target
  • Provide support to optimize, standardize and deploy lean principles and practices.
  • Determine best practices and provide support in developing and deploying kaizen.
  • Develop and implement an annual operations excellence plan for process control, cost out opportunities and overall execution.
  • Plan & improve operational efficiency and support to production department to achieve the target.
  • Design the process for identifying functional training needs for Shift In-Charges / Supervisors & Engineers.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing concept, Kanban system & Continue process improvement and provide training for the same.
  • Plan the production in order to execute the monthly production target and Project Schedule.
  • Implement 5S, Six Sigma, TPM & TQM
  • Effective utilization of man power with maximum efficiency.
  • Ensure timely accomplishment of production targets within the time frame and cost parameters mutually agreed with the Management
  • Compliance to Safety, Statutory Regulations, Quality Management Systems, IMS Procedures & good housing in the plant.
  • Work on cost saving through value analysis / value engineering
  • To create and follow all necessary indicators to evaluate the manufacturing process for continuous improvement practice such as LEAN management and SIX Sigma.
  • Reduce the rework and rejection by applying the various tools & process
