About the role

Responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing Oracle databases to ensure high availability, performance, and security across production and non-production environments. As well as Designs, builds, and maintains scalable data pipelines and architectures to support analytics, reporting, and data-driven applications.

Key Skills:

Oracle Database (12c/19c/21c), RMAN backup and recovery, Data Guard

Performance tuning (AWR, ASH, execution plans)

SQL and PL/SQL development

Database patching, upgrades, and migration

Linux/Unix administration basics and shell scripting

Automation using tools like Ansible or scripting

Monitoring and troubleshooting (OEM or similar tools)

SQL and data modeling (OLTP, OLAP, dimensional modeling)

ETL/ELT development and data pipeline orchestration

Experience with tools like Apache Spark, Databricks, or Airflow

Programming in Python or similar languages

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)

Understanding of data governance and quality practices
