Full description

We are looking for candidates to join our Cybersecurity team as an IBM QRadar & Wazuh Support Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or candidates with up to one year of experience who are interested in Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), threat monitoring, and cybersecurity operations.

The selected candidate will be responsible for deploying SIEM platforms, assisting in troubleshooting issues, onboarding log sources, and supporting the day-to-day operations of IBM QRadar and Wazuh environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor IBM QRadar and Wazuh SIEM platforms for security events and alerts.
  • Perform health checks of SIEM infrastructure and report issues proactively.
  • Assist in onboarding and configuring log sources such as Windows, Linux, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, and network devices.
  • Monitor log collection and troubleshoot missing or delayed logs.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve SIEM-related issues.

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of Cybersecurity concepts.
  • Knowledge of SIEM fundamentals.
  • Basic understanding of Linux operating systems.
  • Familiarity with Windows Event Logs and Syslog.
  • Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, HTTPS, SSH).
  • Understanding of firewalls and network security concepts.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
  • Willingness to learn new cybersecurity technologies.

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to IBM QRadar or Wazuh.
  • Basic understanding of log analysis.
  • Familiarity with virtualization (VMware/VirtualBox).
  • Knowledge of REST APIs.
  • Basic understanding of Elasticsearch/OpenSearch.
  • Experience with Docker is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework is a plus.
