Senior Clojure Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain software applications using Clojure or ClojureScript following coding standards and best practices.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate project requirements into efficient and scalable solutions.

• Build and maintain web applications integrated with backend services and databases.

• Ensure responsive behavior and optimal application performance.

• Integrate applications with relational and NoSQL databases using appropriate Clojure libraries.

• Optimize database queries and transactions for efficiency.

• Design and implement RESTful APIs for integration with other system components.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with Clojure; Haskell or Scala experience is acceptable if able to learn Clojure quickly.

• Experience with functional programming paradigms and concepts.

• Experience implementing RESTful services.

• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MySQL.

• Understanding of software development best practices, including Git, testing, and continuous integration.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Advanced English proficiency.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Reagent.
