Location: Canton, MA – Louisville, KY (Hybrid)

Control Services is a department within Global Core Operations supporting both Computershare Plans and Transfer Agency businesses in North America. Control Services on a department level is responsible for: Processing of all shareholder correction transactions (adjustments) that fit outside of normal processing, Share and Cash Claim processing for external parties, Processing/replacement of FX Draft and FX Wires, the Monitoring of various cash/banking transactions and notifications, and the completion of various reconcilements as well as internal and external regulatory reporting.

This role operates at a regional level within published delivery guidelines. The guidelines include agreed upon timeframes and quality standards. The role also is expected to work collaboratively across teams within the same department and within GCOO, supporting various activities related to the role.

A role you will love

The Business Analyst role is responsible for the day-to-day delivery of high-quality customer service to internal stakeholders and external partners such as our Banking Partners as well as shareholders and employee share participants, ensuring that the day-to-day resolution of queries are responded to accurately and within agreed timeframes. The Business Analyst will work closely with the Front Office, Product, Risk, Compliance and Control Services employees as well as other relevant internal stakeholders to ensure all activities are done and reviewed to meet strict deadlines and service delivery levels.

Some of your duties will include:

  • Partner with CPU’s vendor banks as well as internal and external stakeholders for Foreign Currency (FX) rate inquiries, and FX Rate Investigations. Communicate with internal stakeholders and update our operating systems as needed.
  • Assists, develop and update of Operational Risk Registers, RCSA and pRCSA workbooks, process mapping, Risk Assessments and Loss Events for all of Control Services
  • As an SME of various components of outgoing and incoming dollar transmissions to our banking partners, provide the needed operational support and troubleshooting.
  • Liaison within Control Services, other units within GCO, Issuer Services, Product and CTS through the various development phases including the initial submission of Azure Development requests to reduce costs, enhance revenue, maximize efficiencies and increased client and shareholder satisfaction.
  • Perform various tasks related to Wire Reject Security Review and Authentications, Wire Reject Security Review Escalations and Payment Approvals.
  • Complete data gathering, compile and submit monthly and periodic reports including self-audits.
  • Overall High Level of performance
  • Acting on reasonable requests for additional tasks to be performed and volunteering for additional tasks when capacity is available.

  • Strong logic, critical thinking, communication and teamwork skills.

  • Experience in relation to share registry.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.

Compensation. The typical base pay range for this role is. This base pay range is $80k/yr. This base pay range is specific to Canton, MA and may not be applicable to other locations.
