Full description

NorthKey Community Care is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst & Evaluator. This individual serves as NorthKey Community Care’s lead analytics and evaluation professional, providing expertise in business intelligence, SQL-based reporting, data visualization, program evaluation, and performance measurement. Work Hours: Generally, Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-5:00 pm. This position is on-site in our Covington/Fort Wright, KY location, with opportunity for a hybrid schedule after six months. Candidates MUST reside within commuting distance of Covington, KY, or be willing to relocate to the area prior to their start date. Relocation assistance is not provided. 

PERKS & PAY• $55,000–$80,000 annually, depending on education and relevant experience.

QUALIFICATIONS• Master’s degree preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree in data Analytics, Health Informatics, Information Systems, Public Health, Statistics, Business Intelligence, Healthcare Administration, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in healthcare analytics, business intelligence, program evaluation, quality improvement, or related field.
  • Experience working with electronic health record datasets strongly preferred, including client population, encounter information, and medical claims/billing.
  • Experience supporting behavioral health, CMHC, CCBHC, or grant-funded healthcare programs preferred.

JOB DUTIESBusiness Intelligence, Reporting & Analytics

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize reports, dashboards, datasets, and business intelligence solutions within Credible EHR, Power BI, and other organizational systems.
  • Utilize SQL, Power Query, DAX, and other reporting tools to extract, transform, validate, reconcile, and analyze data from multiple sources.
  • Design automated reporting solutions, dashboards, scorecards, and visualizations.
  • Create executive-level dashboards and performance reports for leadership, project directors, and program teams.
  • Conduct analyses to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with and provide technical guidance, coaching, and support to analysts and report developers in SQL, Power BI, data validation, dashboard design, and reporting best practices.

Data Integrity & Quality Management

  • Validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across systems and reporting platforms.
  • Investigate reporting discrepancies and collaborate with staff to resolve data quality issues.
  • Partner with program management to establish reporting standards, data definitions, and quality assurance processes.

Evaluation & Performance Measurement

  • Serve as lead evaluator for assigned grants and initiatives, including SAMHSA-funded programs.
  • In concert with Project Directors, develop evaluation plans, measurement frameworks, and performance monitoring strategies.
  • Develop and maintain reporting processes and tools to collect, analyze, validate, and interpret program outcome data, and prepare data summaries and reports for leadership, program staff, funders, and other stakeholders.

Grant and Regulatory Reporting

  • Support Project Directors and leadership in fulfilling grant reporting and performance measurement requirements.
  • Partner with Project Directors to coordinate collection and submission of required performance measures, including SPARS and GPRA requirements when applicable.
  • Prepare data and documentation for audits, site visits, and grant monitoring activities.

Consultation, Leadership & Training

  • Serve as an internal consultant regarding analytics, reporting strategy, performance measurement, and business intelligence solutions.
  • Partner with leadership and department managers to improve data-informed decision-making, including providing coaching, technical guidance, and consultation.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with third-party data consulting firms to advance organizational reporting, analytics, data governance, and business intelligence initiatives.
