We are looking for a QA Lead to lead our quality assurance activities across Engineering. You will combine hands-on testing with team leadership, taking ownership of QA processes and helping us continuously improve product quality. The role also offers an opportunity to develop our QA practices and move towards greater test automation and CI/CD integration.
What you will be doing:
- Lead and plan the QA team’s work and resources (team of 2 QA Engineers).
- Ensure QA is involved early in development and tender analysis.
- Plan and coordinate regular software releases and field testing.
- Review requirements and acceptance criteria to define testing scope.
- Perform and oversee testing of software and hardware systems, including on-site field testing.
What we are looking for:
- 5+ years of QA experience with software-intensive products, including 2+ years leading a team or acting as a Test Lead.
- Experience testing software-hardware systems such as embedded/edge, IoT, sensors, or comparable.
- Hands-on experience with Python test automation (pytest or similar) and API testing.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with SQL and Excel.
- Experience with requirements-based verification, traceability, test plans, test cases, and test reporting.
- Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, YouTrack, etc.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, independent approach to work.
- Willingness to travel and work outdoors during field trials.
