Job Description:
Baptist Health is looking for a Healthcare Business Intelligence Analyst III- Service Line to join their Performance Advisory Office! This is a remote work position that requires residency in KY, IN, or an approved remote location that must be verified.
The primary focus for this position will be to support hospital-based business or service lines as assigned through business intelligence/ analytics.
The Healthcare Business Analyst III plays a key role in driving operational excellence, leveraging data and insights, and advancing strategic initiatives within our healthcare organization. This is not a Developer role, but benefits from experience developing BI visualizations and working with databases.
Leveraging their knowledge in clinical operations, process analysis, data analytics, regulatory compliance, electronic health record (EHR) systems, project management, change management, effective communication, and quality improvement methodologies, they will adeptly gather end-user requirements, analyze data insights, and support the development of clear and insightful data visualizations (reports and/or dashboards). The Analyst will guide stakeholders through actionable insights, facilitating streamlined improvement initiatives and informing strategic decision-making processes. Ultimately, their contributions will result in significant enhancements to patient care delivery and overall organizational effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Healthcare Domain Knowledge
- Project and Change Management preferred.
- Experience developing technical requirements for data visualizations, data analysis (statistics, advanced Excel), collaborate with business intelligence developers, validate data, generating reports and visualizations on routine schedules and/or as requested.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Business Intelligence applications (Qlik, Strata, Tableau, PowerBI, data warehouses)
- Background in data analysis techniques, statistics highly preferred (graphical techniques, awareness of statistical analysis methods)
