Senior Project Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

CBTS is seeking two experienced IT Project Managers to join our Technology Delivery team. In this role, you will own the day-to-day management of infrastructure, networking, and client-facing managed services projects from initiation through closeout.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Planning and Execution

• Lead end-to-end project management for infrastructure, networking, and managed services engagements
• Collaborate with Program Manager to define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with clients and technical teams
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocations, and budgets
• Track project milestones and proactively identify and resolve risks, issues, and dependencies

Client and Stakeholder Management

• Facilitate project status meetings, steering committees, and executive briefings
• Prepare and deliver clear project status reports, dashboards, and executive summaries
• Manage client expectations and escalate issues appropriately to ensure satisfaction

Team Coordination

• Coordinate cross-functional teams including network engineers, systems architects, and service delivery staff
• Drive accountability for project deliverables across internal and client-side teams

Process and Quality

• Adhere to CBTS project management methodologies, governance frameworks, and delivery standards
• Maintain accurate project documentation in project management and ITSM systems
• Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery processes, templates, and best practices

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

• 5 plus years of hands-on IT project management experience in an enterprise or managed services environment
• Demonstrated experience managing infrastructure and networking projects (LAN/WAN, data center, cloud connectivity, or similar)
• Proven track record managing client-facing engagements with direct accountability for scope, schedule, and budget
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Jira, or equivalent
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to technical and executive audiences
• Solid understanding of ITIL, Agile, or hybrid delivery methodologies

Preferred

• PMP, CAPM, or equivalent project management certification
• Working knowledge of Smartsheet
• ITIL Foundation certification or familiarity with service delivery frameworks
• Experience working within a Technology Services or Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment
• Familiarity with CBTS service lines, including networking, cloud, security, or unified communications
