Job Summary

As a Senior Analyst, Data Management, you will play a critical role in supporting the organization's data management initiatives across one or more aspects of the data lifecycle, ensuring alignment with policies, standards, and data risk controls. Your experience in data classification, metadata management, data quality, data retention and/or data sharing will help strengthen the policy-based frameworks and improve enterprise data usability. You will contribute to the development and implementation of best practices for mastering data domains, regulatory compliance, and data stewardship, collaborating with business and technology teams to drive operational excellence. This role is ideal for a data professional who is passionate about enabling trusted, well-managed data ecosystems and ensuring that data is properly governed, classified, and securely managed.  

Essential Job Functions

• Work with general & detailed project instruction on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Support the development and implement data centric solutions driven in alignment to the goals of the Data & Analytics department. - (30%)

• Demonstrate good judgment in selecting and utilizing the defined methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Create and maintain business and data requirements documentation, implement procedures to ensure compliance with policies and standards. Analyze and interpret complex data sets to support decision-making processes. Maintain and update data management systems and tools. - (30%)

• Partner and collaborate cross-functionally with Data Governance, IT and other functions to ensure integration of data quality/management processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address data-related issues and provide innovative solutions. - (20%)

• Provide support in the implementation of data management policies and standards to ensure data integrity, security, and accessibility throughout the data lifecycle. Support the development of reports to support the established metrics and KPIs for the defined discipline. - (10%)

• Provide leadership support in the defined data discipline through clear communication, decision making, conflict resolution and inspiring others to achieve their best. - (10%)

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Data Governance, Economics, Data & Analytics or related field.

• 5+ years of experience working in Data Lifecycle Management Roles.

• 2+ years of experience developing queries using SQL or other coding languages.

• 2+ years of experience using Agile methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Lifecycle Management disciplines.

• 3+ years of experience in Financial Service industry.

• Hybrid work environment requiring in office per company policy, can change as per the company policy. Work timings - 1PM IST to 10 PM IST
