Job Description:

This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, and solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. Job expectations include a strong knowledge of development and testing practices common to the industry and design and architectural patterns.

We are looking for experienced mobile Automation Engineer with strong leadership, insights on Mobile Architecture, software development skills and experience in developing and enhancing mobile test automation frameworks. He or she will be designing/developing automated, solutions including unit testing, functional testing, UI testing and performance testing that help guarantee the software quality across a wide range of mobile devices and tablets.

Responsibilities:

  • Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
  • Designs, develops, and modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained
  • Mentors other software engineers and coach team on Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) practices and automating tool stack
  • Executes story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle
  • Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Testing
  • Develop and document test UI automation and application framework enhancements in Java + Appium.
  • Java and Shell Scripting is MUST
  • Mobile Test Automation with Appium is a MUST
  • Selenium Test NG
  • Innovative approach to uncover issues during the development phase
  • Implement new testing frameworks for future products and features
  • Participate in code review of standards, procedures, tools, and quality improvement processes
  • Maintain automated regression suites/packages to be compliant with changing requirements and features
  • Work closely with Product and Engineering teams
  • Must have experience in one of the mobile automation tools and frameworks (Appium, Espresso, XCUITest) 
  • Hands-on experience in designing and building automation frameworks from scratch or using open-source tools
  • Experience working with various source code and CI/CD management tools e.g. Jenkins, Perforce, Git, Bitbucket
  • Ability to work with limited to no guidance in a team environment. ​

Pay and benefits information

Pay range

$102,900.00 - $179,900.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
