Data Analyst - Business Lending

Roles and responsibilities
As a Data Analyst within Tribe Business Lending you will:
- Play a key role in supporting the data‑driven culture behind the digitalization of loan origination, in‑life management, and risk monitoring across our customer journeys.
- Analyse lending processes of our customers and deliver insights as well as bring structural solutions to business problems of product teams and leadership to support data driven decision making in digital transformation.
- Play an end to end role in analysing the business problem, identifying data requirements, involving in getting the data into datalake, building queries and delivering ad-hoc or structural reports.
- Align with stakeholders across products (CJE and Developers), Data Management and Data Engineers to define and execute end to end implementation plans
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards to enable real-time portfolio insights
- Deliver consistent, explainable, and auditable reporting and insights for internal and external stakeholders, including portfolio performance, operational steering, and data quality monitoring.
- Act as a data steward, including capturing new data into the data lake and safeguarding data definitions.
The team
As a Data Analyst, you will be part of the Tribe Business Lending Netherlands. You support our purpose: “Focus on easy, smart and personal end-to-end business lending journeys”. We empower entrepreneurs to stay a step ahead with easy, smart and personal business lending services. You will be working in an Agile environment by being a member of a multidisciplinary team of 8 to 9 specialists. Your colleagues will have a background in Process management, IT, Data Analytics/Management in the business domain. You work closely with the colleagues from Products, Pricing, Operations, Credit Risk and Finance.

- Master’s degree in mathematics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Information Management, AI, Statistics or alike, and/ or equivalent experience within data reporting & statistics.
- 3+ years experience as data analyst
- You are analytically strong and are a star in assessing and solving problems, making analyses, and sharing results with impact
- You are an expert with query languages (e.g., SQL, SAS) and dashboarding tooling (e.g. Cognos Analytics, Power BI)
- Affinity or experience with Business Lending and Business Banking
- To be able to influence and convince not only peers but also the stakeholders based on analytical results.
- Communicatively strong, team player and someone who takes initiative and ownership
- You are fluent in English (verbal and written) and hold current residency in the Netherlands.
