Position Summary

The Restoration Project Manager leads assigned mitigation and restoration projects from initial assessment through completion. This role oversees teams, coordinates resources, manages project financials and documentation, and serves as the primary point of contact for customers, insurance representatives, vendors, and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate losses and job-site conditions; establish the scope, safety plan, schedule, milestones, and resource needs for each project.
  • Prepare accurate estimates in Xactimate and obtain scope and pricing approval from customers, clients, and insurance representatives.
  • Lead restoration teams and coordinate crews, subcontractors, equipment, materials, and other resources across active projects.
  • Set daily priorities, monitor project progress, resolve production or scheduling issues, and ensure work meets company and industry standards.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and communicate proactively with customers, insurance representatives, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Ensure project documentation is accurate and complete, including photos, notes, labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractor records.
  • Manage project costs, job profitability, workforce utilization, billing support, and timely project completion.
  • Coach and develop team members while maintaining accountability for safety, quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of mitigation and restoration experience, including at least 3 years in project management or senior operations leadership overseeing supervisors and multiple crews.
  • Demonstrated experience managing restoration projects from initial assessment and estimating through production, billing, and closeout, with strong knowledge of documentation, scheduling, and job-cost control. 
  • Proficiency in Xactimate, including preparing, reviewing, and revising restoration estimates; working knowledge of time-and-materials billing strongly preferred. Valid driver’s license and ability to successfully complete a background check, subject to applicable law.
  • Proficiency in Xactimate, including the ability to prepare, review, and revise restoration estimates. Working knowledge of time-and-materials billing is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn and use company project-management and documentation systems.
  • IICRC certification preferred; WRT, ASD, or other relevant certifications are a plus.

Work Schedule, Travel, and Physical Requirements

  • Full-time position with occasional evening, weekend, holiday, or on-call work based on project needs. 
  • Local and out-of-area travel may be required. 
  • Must be able to inspect active restoration job sites safely.

 Compensation: $65,000–$90,000 based on experience, includes performance-based incentive opportunity.
