Demant Warsaw is a part of the world-leading hearing healthcare group Demant, which offers solutions and services that help people with hearing loss connect and communicate with the world around them, including best-in-class hearing instruments.

We are currently seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our Digital Business Solutions team on a fixed-term basis as maternity leave cover. The team is dedicated to creating a web-based e-commerce and self-service platform for our B2B customers. In this role you will collaborate on a daily basis with our Product Owners and Product Manager, as well as work closely with the development team, preparing designs for new functionalities as well as on-goingly striving for best-in-class user experience on our platform.

What tasks are waiting for you?

  • Prepare designs for new functionalities according to brief from Product Owners or other stakeholders.
  • Proactively seek out improvement opportunities for the UX and UI of the platform.
  • Collaborate with other design teams in the organization to ensure design alignment between various online solutions in Demant.
  • Own and maintain Design System in Figma.
  • Combine business' and users' needs with feasibility limitations in your daily work.
  • Collect requirements, business goals, users' needs and technical background from stakeholders.
  • Facilitate workshops with company's stakeholders.
  • Identify potential problems and risks related to the context of usage.
  • Support Product Manager and Product Owners in business decision related to usability and usage context.
  • Prepare UI solutions in a way that they can serve as a development spec for front-end developers (dev mode in Figma).
  • Contribute to gathering information from users by participating and co-creating usability tests, interviews and other qualitative methods.

It would be great if you have:

  • Strong proficiency in Figma (advanced use of components, variables, modes, auto-layout, prototyping, interactive components, tokens, libraries).
  • Proven experience building and maintaining web-focused design systems.
  • Ability to design scalable, reusable components.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design and ability to translate business and user needs into intuitive, elegant solutions.
  • Strong understanding of responsive web design.
  • Deep knowledge of accessibility for the web.
  • Fluent English language allowing effective work in multinational teams. Your daily work will be conducted in English.
  • Ability to articulate design decisions and principles.
  • Ability to organize your work well, you are self-driven.
  • Experience in agile/scrum environment.
  • Experience in designing eCommerce solutions is highly preferred and working with service platforms is a bonus.
  • Experience in working in international environment and/or healthcare industry is a bonus.
