In Argentina, we are looking for a Senior Node.js Engineer to join our team and work on modern cloud-based solutions.

You will be part of the team implementing critical routing platforms, actively participating both in modern software development and in direct collaboration with business teams to unlock value quickly and efficiently. This ecosystem ranges from data ingestion using AWS infrastructure to complex administrative web applications and mobility solutions.

This is you

  • Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
  • Strong hands-on skills with React (v18+), Vite, Context, and Hooks.
  • Ability to design robust REST and GraphQL APIs using appropriate HTTP methods, status codes, and maintainable structures.
  • Solid knowledge of AWS services, including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, RDS, and Cognito.
  • Strong understanding of unit and integration testing with Jest.
  • Ability to write clear and comprehensive technical specifications that can guide AI tools in generating production-ready code.
  • Ability to review, refine, and harden AI-generated code by adding error handling, security controls, logging, and resilience.
  • Strong active listening, business empathy, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate ambiguous business needs into practical and scalable technical solutions.

Nice-to-have skills:

  • Familiarity with mapping APIs and geospatial integrations.
  • Understanding of event-driven architectures and asynchronous messaging patterns, such as Amazon SQS.
  • Knowledge of common software design patterns.
  • Understanding of secure software development practices and related security tools.

This is your role

  • Design, develop, maintain, and optimize scalable serverless microservices using Node.js, TypeScript, AWS Lambda, and API Gateway.
  • Build and enhance modern administrative portals and user interfaces using React, Vite, and Material UI.
  • Apply Spec-Driven Development methodologies to create technical specifications and advanced prompts for generative AI tools.
  • Guide AI-assisted development workflows and ensure generated code is production-ready.
  • Provision and manage AWS cloud resources using CloudFormation.
  • Work with both relational and NoSQL databases, including RDS and DynamoDB.
  • Translate high-level or ambiguous business requests into scalable and efficient technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and engineering teams to identify the most effective solutions.
  • Ensure the reliability, security, and maintainability of both manually written and AI-generated code.
  • Develop and maintain unit and integration test suites using Jest and Testing Library.
  • Contribute to code quality through linting and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
