Job Purpose: The Gen AI Data Scientist is responsible for the execution, optimization, and deployment of Generative AI models, ensuring high-performance AI solutions that enhance business efficiency, decision-making, and automation. This role involves hands-on model development, fine-tuning LLMs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate AI into enterprise applications.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle for AI products in finance, from ideation and requirement gathering to deployment, scaling, and continuous product development.
- Drive comprehensive business process reengineering by identifying high-value opportunities for AI integration within existing financial workflows and SAP environments.
- Design and author detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), and Statements of Work (SoWs) for enterprise AI initiatives.
- Orchestrate SAP integration for critical financial modules (e.g., Order-to-Cash, Treasury) and manage third-party system integrations via secure APIs.
- Calculate, track, and present ROI for AI projects to ensure strict alignment with financial objectives and strategic business growth.
- Manage the development, scope, and implementation of foundational AI agents, optimizing business flows and generating precise user stories.
- Lead Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and scope management for cross-functional technical teams.
- Act as the primary liaison for stakeholder management across finance, engineering, and executive leadership, ensuring seamless communication.
- Oversee vendor management, collaborating with external technical partners to align solution designing with internal architectural standards and API integration protocols.
Domain Expertise & Operational Tools
- Strong capability in solution designing, mapping business flows, and translating complex technical requirements into actionable business value.
- Fundamental understanding in enterprise SAP environments and orchestrating third-party system interoperability via APIs.
- Fundamental understanding of Cloud Architecture basics (e.g., AWS, Azure) to effectively guide AI deployment strategies.
- Basic proficiency in Agile project management platforms (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps) for sprint planning and user story management.
Leadership Capabilities
- Strong stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing critical decisions across diverse technical and financial teams.
- Effective and clear communication skills, adept at articulating complex AI product visions and API integration timelines to non-technical business leaders.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Finance, Product Management, Digital, or Artificial Intelligence.
- 2–4 years of direct experience in Product Management or Program Management (specifically bridging finance and technical domains would be a plus though not mandatory).
- Demonstrated capability in managing the full product lifecycle, executing Agile/Scrum methodologies, and deploying API and SAP integrations.
Educational Background
- MBA in Finance / Product / AI/ Digital from a recognized institution.
- Foundational academic exposure or certifications in technology, cloud architecture, or engineering would be preferred.
