Do you want to help build cutting edge products that shape Europe’s energy markets? Our M7 Product Line provides market-leading solutions for Energy commodities trading. Our Prague based development team consists of highly skilled professionals, working with the latest proven industry standard technologies.

Join our M7 Gas development team and help us build a new simulation platform for our next-generation Gas trading ecosystem, the newest addition to our M7 Product Line. Work with us closely in our Prague office, engaging in hands-on collaboration, spontaneous discussions, and sharing ideas.

Your responsibilities:

  • Design and develop a Kotlin-based software suite that simulates and validates complex trading scenarios in a cloud-native environment
  • Drive new development by selecting appropriate technologies, tools, and approaches to evolve the platform and its capabilities
  • Collaborate with peers and stakeholders to refine, analyze, and validate requirements, and translate domain knowledge into executable scenarios
  • Design a domain-specific language that can be understood and reviewed by non-developers, such as functional analysts

Your profile:

  • Experience developing with Kotlin (or proven strong competence in Java/JVM languages and willingness to learn Kotlin)
  • Solid understanding of modern practices in automated testing
  • Experience with containerization and cloud technologies (GCP, K8s, Docker)
  • Proficiency with modern development tools (Git, Gradle, CI/CD pipelines)
  • Confident working in Linux environments
  • Values close day-to-day collaboration and is comfortable working alongside teammates in our Prague office
