Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and entrepreneurial Senior Associate to join our growing Finance team. This role will play a critical part in financial planning, forecasting, business analytics, and strategic initiatives across the organization.

This position is ideal for a high-performing finance professional with strong financial modeling capabilities who is looking to gain exposure to executive leadership, operational performance, and strategic decision-making within a rapidly growing, private equity-backed business.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Support the annual budgeting process, monthly forecasting cycles, and long-range planning initiatives.
  • Build and maintain sophisticated financial models to evaluate business performance, growth opportunities, and strategic initiatives.
  • Analyze monthly operating results, identify key performance drivers, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
  • Prepare executive-level reporting packages and business reviews for senior management, lenders, and board stakeholders.

Strategic Finance & Business Analytics

  • Partner with operational leaders to evaluate performance across business units and identify opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Develop ad hoc analyses and decision-support tools to help leadership make data-driven business decisions.
  • Utilize business intelligence platforms, including Sigma, to create reporting and dashboards that enhance visibility into business performance.
  • Support the continued implementation of AI-enabled reporting and analytical capabilities.

M&A and Growth Initiatives

  • Assist with financial analysis and diligence efforts related to acquisitions and new site expansion opportunities.
  • Support Quality of Earnings (QoE) reviews and other transaction-related workstreams.

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting, forecasting accuracy, and operational processes.
  • Support the development of scalable systems, controls, and reporting capabilities as the organization continues its rapid growth trajectory.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, consulting, or a similarly rigorous analytical environment.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills required.
  • Experience building operating models, forecasting tools, and business performance analyses.
  • Experience with reporting tools; Sigma experience is a preferred
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and key business performance metrics.

Compensation & Work Environment

  • Base Salary: Approximately $115,000 - $125,000 based on experience + performance-based bonus
  • Hybrid Schedule: In-office Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday
  • Location: Charlotte, NC

$115,000—$125,000 USD
