This role primarily focuses on technical support and service delivery for Ball Bonder equipment. Key duties include:
- Installation and setup of hardware and software,
- Support across overall operational processes,
- Assistance with preventive maintenance activities,
- Troubleshooting of equipment issues, and
- Communication and coordination with internal teams and customers to resolve problems efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a liaison between headquarters and customers, addressing both administrative and technical matters related to assigned projects.
- Instruct customers on system operation and maintenance, ensuring proper usage and performance.
- Interpret customer requirements promptly and clarify responsibilities when equipment issues arise.
- Understand hardware system and software functions for Ball Bonder equipment and follow up on issues to ensure effective troubleshooting.
- Analyze product problems onsite and identify optimal solutions, especially for recurring or complex issues.
- Manage new equipment installations, conduct customer training, and provide warranty support.
- Respond to customer requests for onsite technical assistance.
- Provide general application support and share product usage insights with Sales Account Managers and Product Marking Managers.
- Offer feedback to Product Engineering Team regarding periodic maintenance needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Korean and English.
- Detailed-oriented and analytical, with a strong ability to maintain high levels of accuracy in work.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills, including macro development, are a plus.
