Overview of the role :
The Senior Financial Analyst – Pricing & Residual Value will support the Senior Finance Manager in driving pricing governance, residual value management, portfolio profitability analysis, and commercial decision support across the Financial Services Division. The role will be responsible for developing pricing models, monitoring asset performance, validating residual value assumptions, and providing analytical insights to optimize profitability, competitiveness, and risk-adjusted returns across financial products and portfolios
What you will do :
Pricing Strategy & Profitability Analysis
1. Develop, maintain, and enhance pricing models for Financial Services products, ensuring alignment with profitability, risk, and growth objectives. 2. Conduct detailed profitability analysis by product, customer segment, channel, and portfolio to identify value creation opportunities. 3. Provide pricing recommendations and business cases to support strategic initiatives, market expansion, and product launches. 4. Monitor actual portfolio performance against pricing assumptions and recommend corrective actions where required. 5. Evaluate the financial impact of market changes, competitor pricing, cost fluctuations, and economic conditions on product profitability. 6. Partner with Commercial, Sales, Risk, and Finance teams to ensure pricing decisions balance competitiveness and sustainable returns.
Residual Value Management
1. Develop and maintain residual value methodologies, assumptions, and forecasting models across applicable asset classes. 2. Monitor residual value performance against actual market outcomes and identify emerging trends or risks.
3. Prepare residual value risk assessments and recommend actions to mitigate exposure.
Portfolio Analytics & Performance Management
1. Develop portfolio performance dashboards and analytical reports for management decision-making. 2. Monitor portfolio trends, yield performance, asset utilization, and return metrics. 3. Analyze key performance drivers impacting portfolio profitability and operational efficiency.
Governance, Policies & Controls
1. Support the development and maintenance of pricing and residual value policies, methodologies, and governance frameworks. 2. Ensure compliance with internal approval authorities, financial controls, and risk management guidelines.
Business Transformation & Data Analytics
1. Develop automated pricing and profitability dashboards using advanced analytics tools. 2. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance pricing effectiveness and reporting efficiency. 3. Support digital transformation initiatives through data modelling, process automation, and analytical innovation
Required Skills to be successful
- 2–5 years’ experience in corporate finance, treasury, banking or financial services
- Understanding of financial markets, forex and Pricing , accounting including FX, liquidity, cashflow and various financial instruments
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
