CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years has a W2 contract assignment for a Data Analyst 2.

Type: Contract Job Title: Data Analyst 2 Location: Corning, NY Candidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Corning, NY Pay Rate: Based on experience Work Hours: M-F 8am-5pm Education: Minimum Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s degree preferred in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field.

Description

The Data Analyst 2 will support an innovation program through data collection, quality management, analysis, and visualization. This role will develop dashboards and reports, monitor data integrity, and provide actionable insights to support informed decision-making across cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working with complex datasets while communicating findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 1-5 years of experience in data analysis, data quality management, and dashboard development.
  • Proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, JMP/Python, Excel, or similar analytics tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Experience working with complex datasets and identifying data quality issues.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into analytical solutions and visualizations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical, business, engineering, and program management teams.

Qualifications

  • Experience developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and performance metrics.
  • Experience analyzing data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and actionable insights.
  • Knowledge of data quality management and data governance practices.
  • Ability to document data definitions, reporting methodologies, and data management processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting R&D, innovation, product development, or technology programs.
  • Knowledge of KPI development and performance reporting frameworks.
  • Experience working in cross-functional environments.
