Project Manager (Claims)
Our Professional & Executive Risk team is looking to add a Project Manager (Claims) to the team. This role is responsible for coordinating the claims process from initial reporting through ongoing administration, while ensuring timely communication, accurate reporting, and exceptional service to our clients, carriers, and internal teams.
Job Responsibilities
- Report new claims to insurance carriers, establish claim cases in Salesforce, and ensure all claims are accurately submitted by the end of each business day.
- Record and maintain carrier acknowledgements in Salesforce, ensuring claim documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Monitor outstanding coverage determinations and proactively follow up with adjusters on claims that have not received a coverage position within established timelines.
- Manage daily claims operations, including email intake, carrier follow-up, EPL coverage coordination with Claims Counsel, and client reporting.
- Prepare and compile weekly and monthly claims reports and metrics using Salesforce and internal tracking tools.
- Administer quarterly, semi-annual, and annual bordereaux reporting, track reporting deadlines, and monitor policy changes affecting reporting requirements.
- Request and coordinate loss runs with account teams as needed to support client and broker requests.
- Respond to broker inquiries by providing timely and accurate claim information, coordinating with Claims Counsel when appropriate, and supplying loss runs as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in insurance claims, paralegal activities, or an administrative support role is preferred but not required.
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong customer service, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
