About the Team

We are launching AT&T’s greenfield Identity Data Fabric program to unify human, machine, and application identities into a single, comprehensive, attribute-rich identity profile trusted by applications, platforms, and security controls in real time. The team works at enterprise scale using Radiant Logic, LDAP/LDAPS, virtual directory services, and identity data integration platforms. We partner closely with IAM, application, infrastructure, cloud, and security teams to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable identity data services for critical enterprise use cases.

Role Summary

As a Sr Specialist, Cybersecurity - Directory Services Engineer, you will play a key technical leadership role in AT&T’s greenfield Identity Data Fabric program. You will design, build, and manage Radiant Logic VDS-based virtual directory services that create secure, application-specific identity views for downstream systems, applications, platforms, and security controls. You will establish technical standards, mentor engineers, influence architecture decisions, onboard new consumers, manage VDS operations, tune performance, and resolve complex LDAP/LDAPS, authentication, authorization, data mapping, and connectivity issues in production environments.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise LDAP and LDAPS directory services supporting authentication, authorization, and application integration use cases.
  • Implement and support Radiant Logic VDS for identity data aggregation, virtualization, attribute mapping, and secure directory access.
  • Integrate identity sources such as Active Directory, AD LDS, OpenLDAP, databases, REST services, cloud directories, and application repositories into a reliable virtual directory layer.
  • Configure secure LDAPS connectivity, certificates, bind patterns, access controls, schema mappings, search filters, referrals, and directory routing policies.
  • Troubleshoot complex LDAP, LDAPS, authentication, authorization, synchronization, and application integration issues across hybrid environments.
  • Ensure high availability, performance, scalability, resiliency, monitoring, and operational readiness of directory services and virtual directory platforms.
  • Collaborate with IAM, PAM, IGA, infrastructure, application, cloud, and security teams to define integration patterns, data mappings, SLAs, and operational runbooks.
  • Support identity synchronization, correlation, transformation, and data quality activities for enterprise IAM programs.

What You Need to Bring

  • 10+ years of experience in IAM, directory services, infrastructure engineering, or enterprise application authentication environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience with LDAP and LDAPS, including directory design, schema concepts, bind/search operations, certificates, access controls, and troubleshooting.
  • Practical experience with Radiant Logic VDS / RadiantOne, including configuration, data source onboarding, attribute mapping, identity virtualization, and operational support.
  • Experience integrating directory services with Active Directory, AD LDS, OpenLDAP, cloud directories, databases, REST services, and enterprise applications.
  • Strong understanding of authentication and authorization patterns used by enterprise applications through LDAP/LDAPS and directory-backed integrations.
  • Ability to troubleshoot performance, connectivity, certificate, schema, data mapping, replication, synchronization, and access-related issues in complex environments.
  • Working knowledge of IAM domains such as IGA, PAM, RBAC/ABAC, MFA, Zero Trust, and identity lifecycle management.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and diagramming skills with the ability to work with technical teams, application owners, vendors, and leadership stakeholders.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) required.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Radiant Logic IDDM, IDA, HDAP, FID, Global Identity, or identity correlation capabilities.
  • Familiarity with SCIM v2, REST/JSON, OAuth/OIDC, SAML, Kerberos, and enterprise federation patterns.
  • Exposure to CI/CD tools, infrastructure-as-code, containerized deployments, or cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Familiarity with business application access control models such as SAP, Workday, Salesforce, and ServiceNow.
  • Strong organizational, project management, self-motivation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Interest in leveraging automation or AI-enabled tools to improve troubleshooting, monitoring, reporting, and operational response workflows.

Why Join Us?

  • Play a key role in modernizing enterprise directory services that support secure access for critical AT&T applications and identity platforms.
  • Work on high-scale LDAP/LDAPS, Active Directory, and Radiant VDS integrations that directly impact IAM, security, and application enablement.
  • Collaborate directly with teams across India and the US on a strategic identity services capability that improves reliability, security, and operational efficiency.
