About the Role

You will step into a complex technical transformation in a financial services environment, with a focus on corporate channel migration and adjacent payments capabilities. This is a role for you if you enjoy turning moving parts into a clear plan, aligning business and technology, and keeping delivery on track across multiple teams and stakeholders.

You will work close to business SMEs and technical specialists in an environment where structure, pace and communication matter. The role is especially interesting if you like owning technical delivery in large organisations and navigating both complexity and ambiguity.

Job Description

• You will lead the planning, execution and closing of a technical project or technical workstream within a larger initiative.
• You will create a viable technical project plan together with business SMEs and technical contributors such as Business Analysts, Solution Architects, Developers and Testers.
• You will coordinate technical activities across teams, drive delivery forward and provide clear progress reporting to business, programme and steering stakeholders.
• You will facilitate problem-solving sessions and escalate issues and impediments to keep momentum and reduce delivery risk.
• You will help set and maintain a high pace of delivery across disparate teams and contributors.
• You will support the team across topics related to Payment Channels, Payments Processing Platform and Payments Reporting when needed.
• You will work in a delivery setup that includes both traditional waterfall Project Management and Scaled Agile ways of working.

Requirements

• 7+ years’ experience as a Project Manager in technology projects.
• Strong and demonstrable knowledge and experience planning, executing and closing technical projects or technical workstreams within larger projects.
• Strong and demonstrable ability to create a viable technical project plan in collaboration with both business SMEs and technical contributors such as Business Analysts, Solution Architects, Developers and Testers.
• Strong and demonstrable ability to coordinate technical activities across teams and contributors, drive and report on delivery of technical activities, facilitate problem solving sessions, and escalate issues and impediments for resolution.
• Strong and demonstrable ability to set and maintain a high pace of delivery across disparate teams and contributors.
• Experience in managing diverse stakeholders in large organizations and navigating ambiguity.
• Experience in both traditional waterfall Project Management and Scaled Agile environments.
• Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills, with the ability to drive efficient and robust decision-making.
• Fluent in English.
