Full description

Why DataMap

DataMap builds really cool technology and implements, integrates, and runs source-to-pay for some of the largest companies in the world, including Google. Coupa named us Innovation Partner of the Year in 2026, and Coupa points customers to us for Microsoft ERP integrations. We are also a Microsoft, Boomi, SAP, and Oracle partner, and most of our work sits where finance process meets system design.

We perform enterprise-scale work. Projects run on real deadlines and real budgets, the people who trained you are still in the room, and a project manager who keeps a program on the rails is noticed by clients and by leadership.

We are an AI-first company. Project managers here work with AI in the loop on planning, status reporting, and documentation, and it changes what one person can carry.

How we hire

Apply, and you'll get a nine-minute problem-solving assessment. That's the entire first round. Based on scores and the number of applicants, the next step is an interview.

The role

The Project Manager owns delivery of Coupa implementations end to end: procure-to-pay, invoicing, Coupa Pay, expenses, sourcing, contract lifecycle management, and supplier enablement, plus the ERP integrations that go with them (NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Acumatica, Workday, Oracle, and others).

You are the single point of accountability for your accounts from SOW signature through go-live, hypercare, and handoff to production support. You run the plan, the budget, the client relationship, and the change management workstream, and you lead our functional consultants, integration developers, and solution architects alongside client sponsors, their finance and IT teams, and Coupa's own team. You also identify expansion opportunities on your accounts and follow through to close them.

This is a client-facing role for someone who has delivered enterprise software in a consulting or IT project environment and wants real ownership.

  • Reports to: VP of Operations
  • Location: Based at our Overland Park, KS headquarters. Relocation assistance is available.
  • Travel: Rare. Most work is delivered from Overland Park. A specific project may require travel depending on customer needs.
  • Compensation: $80,000 to $110,000 base plus performance bonus, depending on experience
  • Eligibility: Must be authorized to work in the United States

What you'll do

Own delivery

  • Plan and run Coupa implementations from kickoff to hypercare exit: scope, timeline, resource plan, RAID log, weekly status reports, and steering committee cadence
  • Manage the engagement budget: track hours and actuals against the SOW baseline, forecast utilization, and protect margin
  • Drive the delivery workstreams (design, reference data collection, integration design and testing, UAT, cutover) to milestones, and manage ERP and third-party dependencies
  • Chair kickoff, weekly client status, and steering committee meetings, and produce executive-ready decks and decision logs
  • Run the formal readiness assessment and go-live sign-off with the client PM and sponsor as the gate for exiting hypercare and closing the engagement
  • Lead the consultants on your engagements rather than just scheduling them: set the bar, then hold them to it so deliverables are delivered, customer expectations are exceeded, and adoption is achieved

Own the commercial relationship

  • Support SOW scoping and estimates with Sales and delivery leadership, and hold the line on scope once signed
  • Identify out-of-scope requests early and convert them into change orders
  • Support milestone invoicing and month-end revenue reporting for your engagements
  • Identify expansion opportunities on your accounts and follow through with Sales and Customer Success to close them, along with production support and renewals

Own change management and adoption

  • Run the organizational change management workstream: stakeholder analysis, change impact assessment, and readiness planning
  • Build and execute communication plans for executive sponsors, business owners, end users, and suppliers, and coordinate with supplier enablement on onboarding and go-live outreach
  • Mobilize a client-side change network of sponsors, champions, and super users
  • Define the training approach and run a train-the-trainer model so the client is self-sufficient at handoff
  • Track adoption after go-live, identify resistance and capability gaps, and drive reinforcement through handoff
  • Lead the consultants on the change workstream the same way: set the bar, then hold them to it so communications and training land, customer expectations are exceeded, and adoption is achieved

Build the practice

  • Contribute to DataMap's delivery methodology: playbooks, templates, and status and readiness artifacts
  • Direct the Project Coordinators assigned to your engagements
  • Bring AI tooling into planning, reporting, and documentation, and share what works

What success looks like in the first year

  • Your engagements deliver on time and on budget, with margin at or above plan
  • Weekly status reports and RAID logs go out on cadence for every account, with no surprises at steering committee
  • Out-of-scope work is captured in signed change orders rather than absorbed
  • Clients sign formal readiness and go-live acceptance, and hypercare exits on schedule
  • Client satisfaction on your accounts is strong enough that they reference us and buy again
  • At least one template or process improvement you authored is in use across the practice

Where it leads

We promote from within, and quickly for people who earn it. Project Managers here typically move toward:

  • Senior Project Manager, running our largest and most complex Coupa programs and a portfolio of concurrent engagements
  • Director of Project Management, owning methodology, staffing, and delivery performance across the practice and leading the PM team

What we're looking for

Required

  • 3+ years of project management experience delivering enterprise software, ERP, or SaaS implementations
  • Led projects independently with budget accountability and delivered them on time and within scope
  • Managed client stakeholders, including executive sponsors, and run status and steering meetings
  • Hands-on experience with change management activities on an implementation: stakeholder communications, training coordination, readiness planning, and adoption tracking
  • Strong command of project planning, critical path, dependency tracking, and delivery tooling (Smartsheet, Jira, MS Project, or similar)
  • Clear written and verbal communication and executive-ready documentation
  • Managed multiple concurrent projects while keeping each on track
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience

Preferred

  • Consulting or professional services experience with services revenue or utilization accountability
  • Delivered Coupa implementations (P2P, Invoicing, Pay, Expenses, Sourcing, CLM, Supplier Management) or another source-to-pay platform
  • Working knowledge of procure-to-pay and accounts payable processes: requisitions, purchase orders, invoice matching, approvals, payments, and expense reporting
  • Familiarity with ERP integrations (NetSuite, SAP, Dynamics 365, Acumatica, Workday, Oracle) and integration concepts (REST APIs, SSO/SAML, iPaaS such as Boomi or Workato) sufficient to partner with developers
  • PMP, CAPM, or CSM; Prosci/ADKAR; Coupa certification

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary and performance-based bonuses
  • Unlimited vacation and a flexible work environment
  • 401(k) with employer match
  • Health insurance with a generous employer contribution
  • Hands-on mentorship and paid certifications
