We are looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and eager-to-learn Junior QA Automation Engineer to join our R&D team. This role is ideal for a computer science graduate who is passionate about software quality and wants to build a strong foundation in QA while growing into test automation on complex, multidisciplinary products.
Responsibilities
- Write clear, detailed, and well-structured test cases that cover both standard flows and complex edge-case scenarios.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and test frameworks.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts (manual and automated).
- Build and extend automated test suites and help integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Identify, document, and track bugs, and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Continuously improve testing processes, tooling, and automation coverage.
- Learn and apply modern QA tools and technologies, including automation frameworks and AI-assisted testing, as part of the team's continuous improvement efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related field.
- Solid programming foundation in at least one language (e.g., C#, Python, Java, or JavaScript).
- Ability to analyze complex business logic and system requirements and translate them into thorough test cases, including non-obvious edge cases and failure scenarios.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Eager to learn, grow professionally, and become a valuable member of the team.
- Experience with, or strong interest in, using AI tools beyond basic prompting (e.g., building automation tasks and experimenting with AI agents).
- Previous QA experience - an advantage
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks or tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar) or participation in automation projects - an advantage
- Familiarity with QA methodologies, tools, and processes - an advantage
- Familiarity with web application QA and testing of devices that communicate with mobile apps - an advantage
