Who we are looking for

State Street Alpha Middle Office Product Development is seeking a highly experienced individual to join the Cash Product Optimization (CPO) team supporting the Alpha Cash Services platform.

The CPO team drives product optimization and enablement within the Alpha Cash product development lifecycle. The team is responsible for structuring and refining business requirements, defining product-aligned solutions, and validating product development solutions and enhancements.

As a Lead Business Analyst, the candidate is expected to develop a deep understanding of the full cash ecosystem, including both upstream and downstream applications. The candidate must have the ability to lead complex discussions, drive alignment, and influence solutions across global stakeholders.

This role will also serve as a Team Lead, responsible for managing and developing a team of at least four resources.

Why this role is important to us

This role plays a key part within the Alpha Product Development organization, bolstering the Alpha Cash Services platform initiative to connect front, middle, and back office capabilities across State Street.

At the Vice President level, this role drives product solution consistency and product adoption globally across multiple regions.

This role requires hybrid work model - at least 3 days in the office/week.

What you will be responsible for

Product & Solution Leadership:

  • Analyze and refine incoming requirements from partner teams into clear, concise, and structured product use cases
  • Provide solution direction and challenge assumptions to ensure alignment with product strategy
  • Define and document potential solutions, including mappings, rules, and integration flows
  • Oversee and validate end-to-end workflows across the Alpha Cash Services platform
  • Lead complex discussions to drive alignment and facilitate solution decisions across stakeholders
  • Act as a key escalation point for complex solution challenges and design decisions

Team Leadership & People Management:

  • Manage and lead a team of at least four resources, including determining work allocation and prioritization
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to support team development
  • Review team deliverables to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to standards
  • Build and maintain a high-performing team, fostering ownership and accountability
  • Support the onboarding and continual development of new team members

What we value

Skills and competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years’ experience in financial services (cash, product, or implementation)
  • Strong experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, and solution design
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to independently lead discussions and drive solution alignment across stakeholders
  • Hands on experience with trading and accounting systems including upstream and downstream applications is preferred.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills, including the ability to manage multiple competing priorities
  • Proven experience in people management and team leadership, including managing small to mid-sized teams.
  • Strong ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on contributions

Additional requirements:

  • Flexibility to support global stakeholders, including evening calls with US teams
  • Ability to provide occasional support during weekends aligned with product release activities

Minimum Salary:​

zł282 000 Annual

The minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.​

Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.​

In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.​
