Who we are looking for:
We are seeking a Solution Manager, Digital Solutions, in our Rogers Bank Technology group. You will be a key team player in the technology delivery portfolio, responsible for leading the design and implementation of secure, scalable digital solutions that power customer-facing web and mobile experiences. The role plays a key part in enabling business growth while supporting security, compliance, fraud prevention, and digital modernization objectives. You will participate in the overall planning, execution and success of products and projects delivered by a complex cross-functional team. You will be focused on delivering on digital serve platforms for the credit card portfolio, working closely with technology teams (internal and external) and product teams to bring products to life. You are an ideal candidate if you have a demonstrated track record of building solutions for digital customer experiences in the credit card ecosystem, deep knowledge of the Canadian Credit Card landscape and are interested in developing end to end solutions to meet the need of the business and product teams.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Project Delivery Organization, this role will have accountability for helping build and scale new and existing digital experiences. The right candidate will have experience building and managing solutions across web applications, mobile applications and platforms that support them. You will work with our product and project teams and have a direct influence on the roadmap for the self-serve digital portfolio. The ability to stay focused, deliver high quality products and enjoy working cross functionally with your business, operations and product counterparts are key to the success of this role.
What you'll do:
- Own solution design and technical delivery strategy for digital self-service experiences across web and mobile channels.
- Lead solution assessment and design for security, identity, authentication, fraud prevention, compliance, and regulatory initiatives.
- Partner with product, architecture, security, risk, and vendor teams to define scalable and secure solutions that support evolving business and customer needs.
- Oversee the development and implementation of digital solutions for our organization
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including product development, engineering, marketing, and sales to understand customer needs and identify opportunities for digital solutions that meet those needs
- Provide expert advice during the ideation, design and development of digital solutions
- Provide full end-to-end knowledge of the software solution and design
- Ensure the functionality, performance, scalability, reliability, realistic implementation schedules and system architecture for digital projects
- Actively participate in team meetings and offer recommendations and guidance for the best possible solutions for projects in the digital portfolio
- Work with vendors to manage the creation, configuration and deployment of features across the services under the portfolio
- Drive innovation by keeping abreast of emerging trends and technologies in the digital space
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to track the success of digital solutions and identify areas for improvement
What you bring:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in solution management, with a track record of successful product launches
- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies as well as Confluence and JIRA
- Strong understanding of API-based integrations, digital architecture patterns, and enterprise solution design.
- Experience working with third-party vendors and external technology partners in a regulated environment.
- Knowledge of financial services, banking, payments, card servicing, or other highly regulated digital ecosystems is preferred.
- Strong understanding of digital technologies, including expertise in cloud computing both in deploying solution and providing support
- Experience creating High Level Design (HLD) documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights
- Proven ability to prioritize multiple streams of work within one program effectively
- Strong team player, demonstrated ability to collaborate under pressure
- Experience in fostering a positive and motivating work environment, building trusted relationships with internal and external partners
- University undergraduate degree or college diploma
