What's The Role
The Cyber Security B2B Sales Business Development Manager with Liberty Caribbean on-site in Bogota, Colombia is responsible for identifying business opportunities, developing strategic relationships with enterprise clients, and leading the positioning and commercialization of Cybersecurity services. This regional role combines technical, commercial, and account‑management skills to drive revenue growth across the cloud portfolio for the Liberty Caribbean region.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute the commercial strategy for selling Security solutions.
- Generate, qualify, and close opportunities with clients in the enterprise, government, and mid‑market segments.
- Coordinate with solution architects and technical teams to design proposals aligned with client requirements.
- Stay up‑to‑date on Cybersecurity technologies, market trends, consumption models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), and local regulations.
- Manage the sales pipeline in the CRM, ensuring accurate forecasting and meeting quarterly/annual targets.
- Lead presentations, workshops, and executive sessions with clients to promote cloud adoption.
- Establish relationships with vendors such as Fortinet, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Cisco, CrowdStrike, Zscaler.
- Identify upselling and cross‑selling opportunities in managed services, cloud infrastructure, and application modernization.

- Advanced English (ability to interact with international vendors and read technical documentation) is a must.

Knowledge & Experience
Academic Background
- University degree in Systems Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Preferred certifications: Fortinet NSE3 or NS4, or similar are highly desired.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of B2B consultative sales experience in the technology sector.
- At least 2 years of business development experience related to cloud solutions or digital transformation.
- Experience working with technical and commercial teams in complex sales cycles.
Skills & Abilities
- Security Frameworks: Solid understanding of modern architectures including Zero Trust, SASE, XDR, and cloud infrastructure.
- Consultative Selling: Ability to pitch cybersecurity based on business risk, financial impact, and return on investment (ROI).Channel Development: Proven track record of recruiting, training, and activating local Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs) and integrators across the islands. Vertical Mapping: Existing network and entry doors into key regional sectors: Banking, Government, Telecoms, and Hospitality/Tourism.
- Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce, Dynamics, etc.).
