Overview
JST is currently seeking a Database Administrator V (OCI) to join our team.

Database Administrator V (OCI) Responsibilities
- Defines informational needs and data elements, data relationships and attributes, proposed manipulation, data flow, and OCI storage requirements, data output and reporting capabilities.
- Designs, develops, provisions, and implements OCI database applications to accommodate a variety of user needs.
- Tests and recommends OCI native services, cloud migration tools, and software products.
- Performs system-level database and software maintenance, including cloud resource scaling and patching via OCI console or APIs.
- Administers, maintains, develops and implements the integrity, cloud security (e.g., OCI IAM, Data Safe), and high availability of multiple OCI database(s).
- May act as a technical lead and cloud SME for lower-level employees.
Database Administrator V (OCI) Qualifications
- 10+ years of relevant experience, including significant hands-on experience operating within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Engineering, Mathematics, or Business.
- Cloud+, GSEC, Security+ or SSCP (Systems Security Certified Practitioner) Certification.
Desired Qualifications
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) certifications (e.g., OCI Architect Professional, Autonomous Database Cloud Professional) highly preferred.
Required Clearances and Screenings
- MUST be a U.S. citizen
- MUST be able to successfully pass a drug and background check
