Job Title: Construction Project Manager
Location: Houston, TX
Duties: Oversee restoration and reconstruction projects from authorization through completion, ensuring scope, budget, and timeline are met. Coordinate field operations across mitigation, demolition, trades, and reconstruction teams. Serve as the main point of contact for homeowners, adjusters, TPAs, and internal stakeholders. Review and manage project budgets, change orders, and cost controls to protect gross profit. Ensure compliance with IICRC standards, safety protocols, and local/state regulations. Monitor project schedules and proactively resolve delays or resource constraints. Approve scopes, estimates, and supplements in collaboration with estimating and operations teams. Conduct site visits to verify quality, progress, and adherence to scope. Manage subcontractors and vendors, including scheduling, performance, and payment approvals. Maintain accurate project documentation (photos, notes, contracts, invoices, close-out packages). Resolve issues and escalations related to quality, scope disputes, or customer concerns. Drive customer satisfaction and job profitability while supporting company growth objectives.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Two (2) years related experience as a Construction Manager, or related occupation. Experience is required and must include: Handling direct full lifecycle execution of large-scale residential development programs budget annually; Managing structured capital deployment aligned with funding bank agreements, ensuring milestone verification, draw certification accuracy, and controlled release of funds tied to documented construction progress and compliance benchmarks; Leading full lifecycle residential construction programs integrating master scheduling, multi-trade coordination, and subcontractor performance management under strict International Building Code (IBC) compliance frameworks; Aligning trades, inspectors, and project management personnel to maintain schedule and budget integrity during all phases of the project; and Leading multi-jurisdictional permitting and regulatory approvals, ensuring full compliance with municipal, state, and federal building, environmental, and energy codes.
